This is priceless -- A meter that tracks 500 of Obama's campaign promises. Should be interesting as time goes on. Click here to check it out The Obameter!

1st Scrapbook Page of 2009
This year I have vowed to actually do something with all of these pictures. I am almost all done organizing all the products both digital and paper which is an amazing accomplishment in itself. So now I need to actually get some pages and books made. So in keeping with my New Year's Resolution I randomly chose some photos by clicking around five times and I came across these. So today I spent about an hour playing around and came up with this page. Enjoy.

President Obama

While I started out the day I had no intention of watching the inauguration. I know that is supposed to be historic but I really didn't have an interest in watching it. I turned on the television to watch something that was on the dvr and just happened upon the beginning of the inauguration as they were all walking out so I left it on. As I watched I was moved by the pictures of the sheer number of people in attendance and the look of great hope and joy on their faces. Regardless on whether I agree with the politics of President Obama I do have to say that the look of hope and joy on the face on these millions of people was very moving. I am in the end glad I watch the inauguration as I do believe it is historic but not for the reason of him being the first African-American President but for the hope that he has instilled in many of his followers. Now I pray that the hope is not lost and the President Obama will be able to deliver to those that have believed in him. It is no secret that I am very Republican and disagree with many of the politics of President Obama but as an American I do stand up in support and wish him well and Good Luck as he is now My President!

1st Day of Kindergarten
While looking through old photos I came across one from Ali's first day of Kindergarten so I thought it would be fun to post their first day of school pictures. Except now I just got angry at myself and sad again... Because here is Alison's Photo (August 2005) and went to find Austin's and nope, not there I lost most of my pictures from 2007 when my hard drive failed and stupid me didn't have an updated backup. DARN it makes me upset every time I think of it!!!! So, here is one from Mattie's first day of kindergarten and Austin's first day of first grade along with Ali's first day of 3rd grade. So much for this idea.

I can't remember why...
I was looking through some old folders trying to find a picture of Great-Aunt Alvene to post on the 365 blog today (see that blog regarding her passing) and I came across this one of Mattie and I can't remember why for the life of me that she had stitches on her eye in August of 2005. Tons of pictures of it with the eye almost swollen shut and this one but can't remember it at all. That is truely sad!
UPDATE: Jon remembers and said she fell in the bathtub... vague, fuzzy, memory on my part now, very vague
