Mattie: (with excitement) Mom if we get five happy sticks we get a prize out of the treasure chest.
Mom: that is great Mattie, did you get a happy stick
Mattie: I got a happy stick yesterday but not today
Mom: why didn't you get one today?
Mattie: because you have to be really good and and "I was only a little bit a good today but not a lot of good!"
Mom: i cracked up laughing
Mattie: that is not funny it was bad
Mom: tears in my eyes laughing Mattie what did you do that was not being good?
Mattie: I don't know! with a smile on her face that said she really did know what she did :-)
