By believing. God has made us an offer-- to forgive our sins and to give us His righteousness as a free gift. Believing His offer to be sincere, we take that gift by faith. Believing that Jesus died for your sins, you claim it as your very own. You take Him as your Savior. In time, you will learn to walk and tehn to run. But you must begin by taking the first step.
